We are only three days away from one of the spookiest nights of the year – Halloween! If your kids are disappointed about not being home to trick or treat through the neighborhood, never fear! There are several ways for them to still get plenty of candy for Mom and Dad to snack from when the kids are sleeping.
One of these options is the annual Halloween Trick or Treat at The Island in Pigeon Forge. The businesses at The Island participate in the usual trick or treating activities, plus there is a costume contest and a Halloween parade. If you are in costume, you can also purchase half-priced unlimited ride tickets. A live bluegrass band will be performing on the Ole Smoky Stage from 5-11 pm. Another fun way to participate in the festivities is at the Dollywood Harvest Festival. Throughout the day, park attendees can watch talented artisans create the pumpkin displays that are located throughout Dollywood. At night, many of these displays are lit up as giant jack-o-lanterns. There is also glow-in-the-dark face painting, as well as specialty pumpkin flavored foods. This event lasts through November 3, so don’t worry if you can’t make it before or on Halloween. Do you want to participate in the holiday festivities, but the thought of walking around in the cold is not appealing to you? Then the Wonder of Magic Halloween Spooktacular magic show at WonderWorks is the event for you! Star magician Terry Evanswood is the longest performing show headliner in Pigeon Forge. Running through November 2, this show is the perfect activity for the entire family to experience together. Enjoy your Halloween!
