Pigeon Forge Pocket Guide

We are excited to announce the launch of the Pigeon Forge Pocket Guide iOS app!

This free app includes at-the-ready information for attractions, dining, shopping, shows, and more. Scroll through different categories to discover what the area has to offer or look for specific locations with the search feature. In addition, the app includes area weather and a map tab showing attraction locations.

Let's explore what the app has to offer!

​The main tab on the Pigeon Forge Pocket Guide iOS app features categories including Activities & Attractions, Places to Eat, Shopping, and more. Swipe left and right to view the categories, then tap the category you want to explore. You will find an alphabetized list of area locations with a brief description. Tap on whichever location catches your eye to learn more.

When you click on an attraction or location, in this case
the Nascar Speedpark, you will find all the information
you need including:

• pictures of the attraction
• description of what the place has to offer
• hours of operation
• mini map 
• location's address - click to navigate
• phone number - click to dial
• link to the attraction's website

It's a handy one-stop-shop to get all the
​pertinent information for locations in the area!

​After you've explored some of the attractions, you might wonder if the weather will cooperate for your planned activities. Conveniently stay in the same app and get a quick overview of the weather forecast! The weather tab shows a 24 hour forecast as well as a 7 day forecast. Another great feature of this page is it displays weather alerts for the area. Weather alerts only display when one is active, so the sample page above shows no active weather alerts.

The search tab allows you to discover what the area
has to offer in a new way. Want to go bowling or see
what your options are for getting pizza? Search
"bowling" or "pizza" to find entries that include
those keywords in the title, tagline, or
description. Perhaps you've heard of an attraction in
the area but want to learn more about it. Type in
​the name to pull up the entry!

​The middle icon along the bottom of the app is the map. In addition to showing attraction, dining, and shopping locations on the map, it can also display your current location. This is a great way to really understand how close various attractions are to each other. No more getting lost on the Parkway or in the mountains!
